I would like to try a TP motor, so I ordered a 5670, 1180kv for my Sniper from them Oct. 17. Still waiting
Steven has three 5670/1150s in stock right now.....

To further illustrate, note the red dot on the right side of the photo in the last pic up above. It is a blemish, mole, or something spilled on the O-ring. it is slightly higher than the O-ring itself. It barely peeks out past that metal ridge. See it here from the opposite side. mole.jpg

It looks like they sent you the wrong size Orings. If you are still in no rush it looks like you could save a fair chunk of weight, and some cash by selling on the HRC jacket and ordering the correct thickness Orings for the TP jacket.

I don't think I made myself clear enough sir, the metal ridge is so high that you could NEVER fit it on the motor they built it for, o-ring, or not! And there is no re-ordering from TP. I can however write them an email letting them know that their free jacket is a piece of junk. Sure the HRC jacket is a few grams heavier, it's also longer, wider, and it works, and it works better.

I prefer tp jackets over any other. They are nice jackets and low profile. I don't think they are junk, but people make mistakes and the thing about tp is they are good people and will make it right. All you have to do is email them or call them. They do communicate a little better (language barrier) via email however. I've only had one issue with them (last week actually) and they took care of it promptly. Put attention junlin in your email. I could chose any motor I want in my builds, some of my customers don't mind spending 300+ to $500 on a motor. My go to motors have been tp lately, I personally have yet to experience a failure. Sometimes I'll get a neu if there isn't a tp to suit my needs. Just give em a chance before bashing em.

Ahh, I see, the ridge is to big not the Oring being too small. Just curious, it the motor one of the new V3s with the screw on front endbell?
