OK, stupid questions.
1) What boat are we talking about?
2) How big is your race course? I can get 6 laps + a mil lap out of 5000mah 30C Turnigys with 20% left afterwards.

What is strut depth? From bottom of boat to bottom of we strut? Is it flat or on an angle? Where is your center of gravity?

Unless the zippies were bad to start, they should do alright, they were too low of capacity though. I run a pair of 40c 3000mah 4s zippies in parallel in my GEICO with a stock aquacraft 1800kv motor and they swell just a tiny bit in 4 minute races and 6 lap races.
