The 3963 is most likely a HET or a Tenshock 4 or 6 pole motor.

The Leopard 3674 2200kv is a very nice motor, why change it?

Maybe I'm confused when reading this. You want to swap motors for the same kv?

Have you considered selling your current motor and purchasing one with more kv? Also, if the boat is not fast enough for you, you might look at a prop change. There are many knowledgeable users on this forum that can make recommendations for an alternate prop if you can share what you have tried and what the results have been. In many cases, you may see less current and longer runtime as-well-as provide more headroom to allow for larger props or props with a different pitch profile to accomplish your goals.

Looks like you need better batteries. Those temps aren't overly hot. But if your batteries are swelling at those temps then I'm afraid they are just not up to the task.

I would try strut adjustments and battery placement first. You might get more speed and runtime. Plus it's free.

Again, you probably don't have enough capacity for 6 laps. Also, going to a bigger prop isn't going to reduce the swelling. How much did you put back into battery after your run??? 6200mah still may not be enough.

Going to a bigger motor will just make it worse.
