I go your pm but figured I would answer on here. Get some carbon fiber cloth you can find it from most good rc boat supply companies. The cloth should be cut so one piece will cover the bottom and sides of the interior of the boat and up toward the nose as far as reasonably possible. To strengthen the hull what you need to do is use masking tape and cover the outside of the hull completely to protect your paint so you don't don't get epoxy all over it. Once the hull is covered sand the inside of the boat with like 120 grit where you can reach just to scuff up the surface so the epoxy grabs it good. Gut the battery trays and motor mount servo tray ect. Start with an empty hull. When your up to this point. Make sure its all good and scuffed up. Then brush on a layer of epoxy where your cloth is going and lay the cloth in and press and smooth it all out. Mix another batch and with a brush or rubber gloves smear and work it in to the cloth until its good and saturated and scoop out any puddling epoxy. You don't have to fill it till its smooth but you got to get that cloth all soaked with it. Any puddling is just dead weight. Now like the guy above said you should do your research heavily. I don't know anything about your particular hull the motor I have may be much for your boat. But once you get done stiffening it up it will be heavier.as So make sure the ones you look up have been done like this. Also the rudder bolt area will need reinforcement. You can make a plate out of 1/8 inch ply and epoxy it in. Can you make your boat fast without all this yes will it survive long....NO.

Yeah but i didnt just get this boat... I first picked up my mini mono last summer and then took the stock setup out and put a scorpion outrunner with a 40a esc and that lil guy flys across the water will post pic and a month after that picked up the smash shark ! Lol THE biggest mistake of my lady life when she said it was a good idea to get a rc boat since we have bodies of water everywhere around us hahaha ! Since i cant leave anything stock and learning as i go and lots of help from guys on OSE the Community here is very very helpful !
And after the SS i picked up a rivercat "under construction" and all of those are single motor drives. Until i got my CF daytona a few months ago and that will be my first twin beast! With twin TP motors 4050 - 1700kv I have been busy so that build is going slower then i want but it is still coming along with so far the most power i have put in a boat to date for me at least with 8s per motor.

Dude, do yourself a favour and spend some time reading what other members have done when upgrading similar rtr's. A 4092 is a good motor, not for your setup though. Your boat doesn't need a monster motor and 6s2p battery setup. If you spend some time reading now it will save you a lot of grief out on the water.

Littlepooper, I still chuckle everytime I see his name... has done some nice builds already and its because he listened, researched and learned fast... dude123, do like he has done and you too will have success. Alot of the guys on here have alot of knowledge from the ol saying "been there, done that" ...none of us know it all, but some of the OSE family do know most of it.... gut that hull and do like suggested, do a cf inlay. Numerous builds in the build forum showing how to do this... happy holidays... DJ
