Interesting, Travis, the photo which shows the rotors, I assume the lower rotor is from the 1415, maybe it's the angle and distance, looks almost a hair bigger in dia. ?
    Just curious.
Too many boats, not enough time...

Pardon my skepticism, but I know of at least a dozen people personally who can say the exact same thing about Leopard brand motors.

Don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate the time you took to take pictures and post them, but realistically, these are not diamonds, they are electric motors and there is more to quality than just what you can visually see and feel.

No one on this earth will ever convince me that Castle is charging a good 50 or 60 dollars more just for a finned motor can. I just don't buy that for one second.
Maybe Castle found a loop hole to get out of paying licensing fees to Steve Neu? I don't know.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I took pics and examined them as best I could. Without doing a gauss test on the magnets and a metallurgy test on the shaft and other components, that's all I can do.

I just bought a smooth can one e bay, for less then $90. I am going to put it, in the mean machine, everything considered it's a good buy for what looks to be a good motor !
