Been here before, done it. At least the driver board unplugs so I can add Dielectric grease if it has none, then it gets sealed, encased in DP270 like I do with SF esc's with the same type connector. I've got the link and software to install. Should be good. So small inside.
interesting I have one of these as well NIB sitting... I actually bought it for the 1/8 scale fine design car I bought off you ray! haha... If I can convert it for boat use I would.... lol I actually have to send mine back to castle as mine is an original xl2 and it has had an open recall forever and I just haven't sent it in.

Should I put DP270 on the fets or just the exposed electrical metal parts?

I'd like to use the original case, the heatsink compound they use is not epoxy, thankfully as I noticed while disassembling it.

I know I need to put dielectric grease inside the connector and then I'll use DP270 to encase the connector like in the SF esc's I've done.

I think the large aluminum case is a good heatsink and getting rid of it would not be the best idea, not sure though. I would like to hear from those that have done these and or the HV 200 & lite Air esc's.
