since we are on the topic of product changeover,is there any chance that Darin might influence the execs at Proboat to update their website with labelling the products that are discontinued?not all of us own their most recent releases and it would be nice to know if certain parts for older models are still available, instead of trying to order it and finding out later that they are discontinued.thanks.

I thought I had made it clear above. The 1500 and 1800 are no longer being supplied. The "replacement" is the new 2000 that is in the BJ29 v3... At this point, anyhow.

I tested a smaller 2000kv version last night on my kv tester. What I found was quite surprising. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

That is NOT the BJ29 V3 motor... that's the Shockwave 26 motor... 4-Pole... meant for 2S-3S...

hence the reason i said the "smaller version". Is it not the smaller version? I thought i had typed it clearly. The whole purpose of posting it was because the kv is off by 250kv, which i think is pretty significant. 22,200rpm vs 25k rpm. just wondering if the larger version is off by that far.

That's good and I don't mind that the smaller Shockwave version is higher....because on 3s, stock, it gets boring pretty quick so it needs all it can get rpm wise lol.
