    Castle vs neu

How do they compare? Say you have a 1515 castle and a 1515 neu, same kv....does the neu outperform it? I know they are kind of together, but a neu motor and a castle motor look totally different.does the neu have higher quality windings an rotor or are they basically the same? What the difference? Besides being finned lol

Regardless of actual design, and components, the castle versions work just as well, and will last just as long

Performance wise, I haven't noticed the difference between the two either. Have you run any of the Tacon motors from Hobbypartz ?. I would sware castle has something to do with them with the way they perform.....

Tacon motors are extremely inefficient and have nothing to do with Castle.

Hmmmmm. Do you have any of these tacon motors? If so, if like to see the innards.

Unfortunately I dont at the moment. Idk how anyone can say they're inefficient. I had half a dozen I ran side by side with my castles & they ran just as fast and efficient in my 1/8 & 1/10 truggies, buggies & mt's.....

I'll rephrase.....In a boat they are inefficient. Loads must be kept at an absolute minimum or they overheat.

Only a few runs on this one, still works, but coming apart. The rotor makes for a great refrigerator magnet though.

The one tacon I had was a 3674, and was a 2 pole motor

I had a tacon. After 5 runs the armature exploded into about a million pieces.
                      My castle has not.

                          Castle vs neu

Well, I had one in an on road car and it worked very well.
Didn't fair so well in my boat

Two different tacon motors I should point out.
The one I put in my boat was brand new.
