      More flexibility for future use. Plus being fully sealed in an aluminium case, they look soo much nicer.

        I have been running the 6s2p 3300mah on the CF platform but it likes 2 3s 5000mah on the platform and 1 3s on either side of the rails a little forward.

          Guys I have 6s 3700 as well as 6s 4000 if more run time is a concern.

            That 1717 can pull a lot of amps. If you can swing a castle 240 I'd do it. If not go with the sf 220/300 6s ESC I think its been doing better than the 8s 200. The 1717 is a 1600kv motor but its a big can and can spike with a lot of amps.

              There's 2 versions of the Castle 1717, one is 1500kv (vent holes and called an air motor) and the other 1580 (sealed and called a car motor).

              I've run the 1580 version and it can pull lots of amps. Even ran one as an outboard.

                There were 4 versions of the green 1717......2 air versions 1580 + 1500 with open endbells (both 6mm shafts) and 2 car versions both 1580kv but 1 with a 6mm and 1 with a 5 mm shafts
