I would say since your running a 54" hull and you have the space for batteries. I would run a comparable size to a 40mm or a 56mm at what voltage you wanna run. Do you wanna run 1p or 2p?

I vote for two SSS 5684 1000kV or two TPPower 4060 (40x92) 6Y 980kV. And if you want long run time use 3 x 10S wired in parallel for the 2 combos

        Jason:
        10s2p packs for each motor.
Alfa: have you run those motors and how do they perform?

I'm going to run 8,9 and 10s2p in my mono. With twin 528's. With the right props on 10s you could hit 80mph. I think I'll just prop my mono to top out at 70mph. After I get done with it and the paint job is done. I'll be afraid of crashing it

From what I read in other threads is that the Leo's are getting hot and the quality is not that high as the TP power motors. read the new PROTUES motors are a beast so I think I am gonna order a pair of X524 910KV motors and run them on 8s packs. Good choice Keith?

There are a million ways to go with a hull this size, but that should work for sure...what are you trying to do with it? Go carzy fast, or just a "sport" type setup?

No I don't want to burn out the motors. The Protues 910KV motors are rated 33volt max although the leopard 5692/1090 are rated the same and the guy i movie I placed in this thread is using 10s.

If you want to go over 100, you might want a more RPM capable motor, like a Lehner or Neu.
