    Leopard 3674 - 2650kv on 4s,will Seaking 120a esc be enough

Im looking at using the above motor in JAE 21 hydro, so around 39000 rpm unloaded. Will a HW Seaking 120a esc handle this or should i look towards a Swordfish 200a. Also would the Seaking 120a be ok on a Leopard 3674 2200kv on 4s or would a 200a esc be better as well. Thanks Martin.

Yes 3.75 degrees timing on that motor is good as its a d wind motor, im a bit concered going to the 2650kv motor though on the 120a esc as its a higher amp motor than the 2200kv.

Both of those are a ton of motor for a 120A ESC. I've ran a 2200kv motor on a 120A ESC before, but it's not reccomended.
I guess it all comes down to the prop you run, but IMO if you run anything over a 440 I think the 200A would be a better choice.

You can run it with 42mm but if you want bigger esc better buy a t180.
I like how easy they are (120a-180a)
