Steven, if you get more of these motors in, I would like to test the 1200 kv. I have a 1200 KV Fiegao and a 1200 KV KB45 to compare it to on the lake. I will gladly pay for it.

What would you test it in MR Watts?

I would replace the KB45 1200 kv in the M1 Supercat. I think it should handle the extra weight ok. It would be a good comparison using the same voltage, hull and controller while finding what the amps, prop and speed difference are in the three. I have already tried the Fiegao 1200 kv motor in this hull. This is a pretty versatile hull.

In order to make it shine I think its going to need a hull running 8s. But I could be wrong.

I want to run one in a 44" sniper on 8s to see how it goes.

Wow a boat that size with a feigao xl and 8s. What prop are you running. I didn't realize it could push that much.

Yep, it was running about 40. I posted a video on here somewhere.

Here is the 1200kv Fiegao running on sport Tenergy batteries. 8S voltage

This is the 1200kv KB45 with the same 8S setup on IB3600 cells.

Y537/3 direct drive on both. Running the smaller prop is like running them on a trans allowing higher rpm and speed.

FeCalc says the 1200kv motor on 8S with a X640 prop will use 88 amps and run over 50mph. 2550 Watts. 31000rpm

The Y537/3 will use 60 amps at over 50 mph, if this is truly a 60 amp max motor. 1800 Watts. 32000 rpm

I can try this motor with these props on 8S in the 34" supercat hull for the best speed and keeping the amps low.

It will turn the larger props on 6S and run in the 40's for larger hulls.

                        Thats my 2 cents worth.

Mr Watts...are you saying the smaller S-Cat hull such as mine or the M-cat?
