540 XL vs 580 L vs neu castle vs neu

    getting realy currius.

how much of a difference are there between the motors ? and is the difference in chost realy worth it for a sport runner ?

with OSE beeing out of the 12 XL i was looking for earlyer i had time to explore the alternatives. but are the chost of a neu 1515 worth it compared to a 540 XL ?

The 1515 Neu motor will run cooler than a Feigao and will run for a longer time on a charge because they are very efficient. The Castle/Neu motors are a little cheaper and I was told there is just a minor performance difference between them and a actual Neu 1515. For the money I would go with the Castle/Neu if you are a sport runner.

The 12XL motor and the Neu 1515 don't compare, the 1515 is 2200KV so keep that in mind too, the 7XL motor is more of a comparison to the 1515. I have owned both and while the 7XL was fast it rn way hotter and could not turn a larger prop like the Neu could.

Hmm I bought one of the ARC motors for my flying wing, from what I hear they are nice motors.

i was looking at the 1515 1.5y is also 1500kv so they should be able to compare in rpm but the neu is a better motor for shure. but is it worth 3X as much.

Depends on the person I guess, they are to me but not to others. After running Neu's in my hulls I can't see running anything else.

"but is it worth 3X as much."

Considering i fried a 580L and a KB45, then went to a 15271Y with a larger prop, im gonna say yes, they are worth it...........stupid low temps and lots of power.

But please remember to make apples to apples comparisons. A 580L or kb45 cant be and are not advertised to be in the same power range as a 1527.

Which one am I saying is 4s that you want to run 6s on?

Neu motors arrive all the time, there isnt a date given to me when I order.
