    Those jackets look great!

A couple of the 1717's showed up on the rc-monster site. Looks like a boo-boo on CC's part. The motor comes with a 6mm shaft instead of 5mm...

Yep, hopefully Castle will correct this for us though. 6mm shaft in a boat isn't so bad, Steve sells couplers for 6mm shafts.

Just the 1717's are 6mm as they were intended for heli use and 6mm tends to be popular for heli use.

I received my 1515 aluminum water jacket from OSE. Fit is verygood and snug on the 1520.

Did you get to try it under some water pressure?

No. I figured if I oiled everything up real good O rings will not leak. I also sanded down minor burrs inside of jacket where fitting holes were drilled and tapped.

How do you test for leaks. I have seen video, but I need a parts list. Maybe you can stock then sell these parts?

You can get the rubber thing that goes on sink faucets and then it reduces down and slip some silicone hose on it. Most home water pressures are around 40 PSI and up. It would be more than enough if you want to test it. Then plug the other end if you want to pressure it up.

Here's a water leak tester I made from parts laying around. Flared the end of some aluminum tubing, found a rubber nipple in my junk draw & good to go. Wear a raincoat when testing at first !! This little goodie has allowed me to finally fix many invisible leaks and finally have some dry boats.

                      Here is what I did

The adapter can be bought at any of the Home stores.
Home water pressure can easily over power a jacket, so ease into turning on the water.

Why the delay on these jackets? Is there a leaking problem?

So does a 1717 sized water jacket exist these days?

Steve do you have any more 1520 jackets still available? I possibly could use one
