    Castle Motor Jackets DONE.

We should have Castle 1515 Motor Jackets in about two weeks. David and I will be working on the rest of the 1515 sizes and new size 1717 motor line once I get samples.

Would it be possible to make the outside diameter the same as your current 1515 style jackets (1.90" outside diameter). Any wider than 1.90" will not work in my Phil Thomas SS 21 because of current lipo battery sizes.

I thought they were making these without fins as well.

Whats the advantage of getting one without fins? The only advantage I see for a finned motor is the lack of surface area to put a o-ring on to water cool it. We have that covered.
The fins also add additional surface area to cool with the water.

Will this jacket work on the longer 1520 motor?

I wont know until I have motors to test them on. But at the same time I will have ones made for that length of motor.

I had read it on their site is all. No biggie but seems the coolers would be easier to put on and built the same way others are built.

Jeff its really simple. Its a reversed jacket. Instead of the o-rings being grooved into the jacket, they are on the motor. Its really a simple install.
