    120 a sordfish cooling help

Picked up the older version of the 120 a sordfish with cooling on one side? Thinking of adding a cooling tank have
Laying around. While im waterproofing and adding caps to it. My question is would jb weld be good to use to glue
To cooling plate for good heat/ cool transfer.

You should use proper heat sink compound. There are some that dry like silicone and some are grease that never dry.

          Here it is:
50ml Thermal Fujik Silicone Adhesive Glue Grease Coupling CPU Heatsink Compound
          Item # 231039921286

And an email addy for Karina [email protected]

I just used this stuff to redo the cooling on two Castle ICE 200 HV controllers. It worked very well for gluing new cooling blocks to the fets

You need to transfer the heat from one source to another. I am not sure of JB's thermal conductivity.

Be sure to get the Arctic Alumina and not the Arctic Silver.

                      Ebay or Amazon or??

                      ARCTIC SILVER EBAY

                      Characteristics:

Arctic Alumina Adhesive uses a layered
composite of aluminum oxide and boron nitride.

Arctic Alumina Adhesive is a pure electrical
insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive.

A set of Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive
consists of two tubes containing a total of
5 grams of adhesive (2.5 grams each of parts
A and B) and a plastic reusable mixing wand. (Approximately 3cc total adhesive.)

Although lighter per set than Arctic Silver
Adhesive due to its use of ceramics rather than silver, each set of Arctic Alumina Adhesive
contains the same amount of adhesive by
volume as a set of Arctic Silver adhesive
and will cover the same area.
