Castle hydra ice hv 200 problem

Esc has worked perfect and went to use
Yesterday and won't power up. No beeping or anything. Worked fine last run. Just charged batteries and nothing
    Now.
Do I need to send in for repair to castle or is there any fix?

I had the same issue. Sent the unit to Castle for repair, and received a new one.

Can you connect a castle link with battery hooked up and see anything?

                    Tyler,
I was able to use the castle link, but for some reason, the esc freaked and would not initialize. Was really weird.

I have a 200 HV that I just got and was supposed to be Brand new, Its in a 29" Mystic on 4S with Lehner 1940/4 Motor, batteries are Turnigy Nanotech 5600mah 2S. PUt it in the water it went 5ft and quit, motor , esc, and batteries weren't even warm to touch, everything was pretty much air temperature, took it out of the water lifted hatch, both capacitors on it blew right out of it.

Pretty tame setup for this caliber of ESC if you ask me. If I knew this was going to happen I would have just bought a $80 Seaking ESC.

Has anyone else ever had this happen? And what was the cause of it?

The 5ft part is what gets me, theres no way it was drawing that much I never even hit half throttle and just barley got on plane.
