Have you logged current draw with this setup?

i am building an exact setup as yours, conquest with 2028,ice 200 hv setup. would like to know what you find out to be the problem. maybe the 465 to large of a prop to start with on 10s?

Prop is to big you were spiking im sure over 300amps with that setup. i know i was with that same motor but using a fc 200amp esc. i would stay in the 55-58mm prop range

What batteries and configuration-1 or 2P?
I am running a 462 prop On my AM XXX mono (same esc/motor) and just looked at logging; 100amp average with 150amp spikes.
I'm running 10s2p nanotech 45-90c packs with total mah of 10,000.
You may not be giving the esc enough juice.

You were probably over propped on that set-up. I was logging 240+ continously with a 2028 on 10S2P in a big gas boat and small props. If you melted the wire off the board you were pulling too much current.
