    Turnigy 80hv little black wire (spark control)??????

    I need to know what to do with this wire, does it get soldered to the red(+) side?

    Does it precharge the capacitors? it has it's own connector and everything.....

      being a black wire and it looks like its on the negative side i would think you maybe just solder it in with the negative bullet but iam no expert
      that can be the problem with some of the Chinese gear, no instructions

        Actually, yes, it is a spark control resistor. You are right, it will precharge, so you have to connect the wire with the resistor before connecting the main cable. See:

          This will save your esc caps from ending too soon..

          I just put a 33 ohm resistor in between aligator clips so I can use it on any esc.

          I will use this for all my 4S+ boats this year.

                  Yea these will run the max 12s they are "rated for". So I will zip tie the heatsinks and maximize the cooling and cross my fingers.

                    Ray would it be possible to post a picture of this resistor? The aligator clips are soldered to the resistor, then connect them to the positive bullets (esc+bat) then disonnect them and connect the bullets? How you do that?Thanks...
