    Spektrum radio / Hydra 120 compatible ?

    hi folks

last month i send my hydra's to CC for repair. now they are back.

so i calibrate first esc with radio (Spektrum DX3R) and ..............still have full throttle problem (led still blinking)
    firmware is 1.04

on another hand, i have a Lizard with a Seaking 180 esc, and best speed i can get is 45 mph ....... which is not very fast compare to other Lizard i know.

so i start to wonder if DX3R is really a good radio for boating .......

do some of you run a DX3R ???

    thanks

A club member runs that setup. He had a little trouble getting full throttle also. Try moving the throttle a little slower. Make sure end points are set correctly. Please tell me if this works. Maybe it was pure luck when we did his.

      ok i will try

      i was reading user manual.
i wonder if it can be linked to frame rate feature .... there is 3 value depending on servo type used.
      5.5 ms / 11 ms / 16.5 ms

5.5 is for last numeric servo, 16.5 for old analogic servo. default is 11 (on my radio)

      i'm about making a test with a Futaba 3PM 2.4 ghz, to compare ....

The throttle end point adjustments are maxed out?

just mess with the throttle trim. Mine was plug and play, but the throttle trim is the key factor. Get it all set up, plugged in and you hear the first arming sound. then tweak the trim settings and it will arm; mine with a tad forward trim.

If this don't work, I'll buy you a beer.

                hello

doug : i try with throttle trim 100% and then 150% , in 2 way
1/ calibrate radio with 100% trim, and after change to 150%
2/ change trim from 100 to 150% and then calibrate

                same : led blinking

sorry jesse, i dont understand, word combination are too complcate for my poor english :0)

I think you are not calibrating properly. Joe Ford fom Castle has a post on the correct procedure, have you followed this procedure?

                      then calibrate again ...................... same

to prevent next question, it's a brand new hydra 120 ......

Not the manual, Joe's instructions on firmware upgrade calibrations that he has posted on this site.

I believe there is actually two places to adjust the throttle trim buried in the menu's
