Not sure if I can see the graph data to make a conclusion but... how much of a voltage drop difference was there between GO and the regular HV packs ?

More amps and lower temps are definitely nice is definitely a good improvement...
Have you noticed your Charger showing any differences in cell IR between the 2 diff packs as well?

14.6 is what the graphenes dropped to and 13.6 with the hv

The internal resistance is about the same as my hv batts....just a tad lower. The highest I've seen on the hv is about 6m ohm and on the graphenes are 1m ohm to 3m ohm

Not that I pay much attention to that....I've had severely puffed batts read Low resistance like that but we all know their life is shortened once they are puffed. At least that's how I feel.

Just ordered 4 2600mah for the Vorza project. SMCs are too bulky and the 435s are like strapping a fat chick onto a pony.

My GP graphene are coming in under 1.5m ohm too. Seems pretty consistent so far too. Pretty thrilled with where the tech is going.

Terry I am too. These batts seem promising so far. Check this out. By accident I ran just one batt in my Rivercat instead of two in parallel as usual. It lost 4mph compared to two batts but the awesome thing is the battery didn't get warm at all. And nothing toasted. The connectors did get hot tho....that's a lot of load in this boat. I had a serious prop on it to load it up a lot. I'll be putting some through their paces this weekend. I have a boat that will puff the batteries (all ones I've tried) if I run it over a minute or so. I can't wait to see how these do.

I drained some down to 1% exactly as you discribed. DOH! One came unplugged or more likely wans't plugged in. (This is where my son and I point at each other and accuse away)

The damned things are still holding up with no puffing. I don't know what to think.

Maybe an HV with full charge could in theory give you more speed but I'll sacrifice a tic for a something that will take everything I throw at it.

I'll be racing the Giant Powers at the CanAm this weekend. We'll see how they hold up to some abuse. I'll be running them hard and charging them fast with 8 classes to chase.

The packaging is crazy, making me wonder if there isn't a little bit of "gimmick marketing" involved. I mean, velvet bag? Seriously?? How much extra cost did I have to pay for THAT??

These were about $35.00 a pack or so more than the same sized Turnigy HD. We'll have to see if they stack up.

                      So far, so good.

From what I can tell, the Graphene cells are looking about the same as the HD's, IR wise, anyhow. Neither have any puffiness and I don't see a performance difference between the two. Too soon to speak to durability. I imagine that after the Nationals next week, I'll have a better idea.

Just left the lake. Had to test a customers rivercat before sending it off to him. Had a pair of 5000 3s graphenes in it for 6s. Ran it till the batts were at 3.85. Mid 80's boat and running wet so it super stable for him. Batt temps never got over 93. Motor at 111f and esc about the same. Normal batts would get warm in this setup.

Well, we raced the pee out of these over the weekend.

Took the GiantPower HV's (charged to 4.2v) out of the Stealth and dropped in some Turnigy Graphene 3.0. Blew the boat off the water. Perfect gust of wind? I just don't know. Boat was really moving.

Todd ran Revo Graphenes in his P sport and 1/8 scale. Perfect heats in both classes. Not sure how the batteries are holding up but to say that he's thrilled with his new MGM speedos doesn't quite cover it. I ran a set of Revo in scale but my boat had issue after issue. Haven't figure it out yet. Changed everything but the RX so...................it's the RX!

I ran GiantPower graphenes 4s5k's in parallel for 10k in P mono. Perfect heats. At one point I lapped the second place boat. Let that sink in for a second.............. These things are freak'n awesome. In 88 degree weather I got the batteries to 100 degrees heat racing. So on and off the throttle.

My son ran a pair of GP 2s6k's in series for P limited mono. Boat was fast. Really fast. Sometimes he pushes too hard though. Some of you know what I'm talking about with him. A DNF dropped him to 3rd overall.

Still no data to share. Just the eyeball test:
Revos kicked serious behind for Todd.
The Turnigy are good $$ value.
The GP's were great. Might be the best battery I've run. Certain feel to them on the throttle. Can't explain it. Wish I had actual data to show that but I don't. Hence the disclaimer.....eyeball test.

Oh, another thing. The GP's are smaller than the Turnigy. I have no idea what's up with that though.

I'm a GP guy for the most part so I lean that way but get out there and try some of these guys. You will dig the new construction no matter the brand.
