    Good lipo checker

Being the cheap a$$ I can be sometimes, I kept buying cheap lipo checkers. They all proved to be inaccurate. So I decided to try a name brand one. In the pic that you see it looks kinda big, it's not...and I like that. Fits in my prop box easier. It's accurate too. Right in line with my charger. It also balanced the cells automatically. Plug it in and if there is any difference in the cells, it will do it by itself. When all the cells are balanced it shuts off on its own. Pretty neat feature. I might pick up another one just for this feature. I just wanted to give a short review on it, I like to do that on stuff that I think is worth getting.

I bought one myself from my LHS and I love it. It's always in my R/C bag.

I have two of them and I also love the fact that you can a pigtail adapter for Thunderpower lipo balance plugs as I have a number of batteries.

I have one like that, it's very inaccurate. It's the one kintec sells.

As good as these are, none of them read identically to each other. I also have the Hyperion ones and the reading is always abit off amongst each other. I guess if they were analog meters one would not be able to tell, but with digital read out there is no way one can pretend the numbers are the same when they're not. Just saying.....

Did I accidentally drop mine in a box on the way to you? lol

I had that one but I can't find that thing anywhere.... They seem to work for me, I got one from OSE. At one time I had 2 of them and they never EXACTLY matched up but very close and close enough that I will buy another.
Why are you bothering me? I want to see your boat!

I bought one Hyperion and it crapped out trying to read 6S packs. I tried the generic version and it was as good, gave I away after buying another Hyperion but, I don't fully trust it. I'm going to try one of these possibly to see what its like. Doesn't Hitec make an all in one thing with a GPS?

I also have one of these http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXAEPR&P=SM and it is very similar to the Hitec one although slightly more expensive and no TP adapter. The Hitec goes into sleep mode too soon, and once it does, it stops from further balancing.

Brushless55 bought one today and it seems like his hitec did the same thing (or something similar, started acting funny...I'll let him explain) The largest pack I tried on mine is a 4s. I have no 6s packs so I guess I don't have to worry with it.
