Hi all my Turnigy 14.8v 5000mah lipo got wet i cut off the blue heat shrink wrap let it dry for 24 hrs and went to recharge on my Hyperion charger which i recharge at a charge rate of 5 amps and noticed max charge was .25 amp and took 3hrs to put back 1000 mah into the pack. Would i be correct to assume the lipo pack is finished and should be dissposed ? Regards Andris Golts.

Was it salt or fresh, fresh will be ok you need to thoroughly dry it and maybe a good soak in Methylated spirits,
Salt water would need an immediate dunk in fresh water then the above treatment, but after 2 weeks the damage will be done.Comment
