How to mesure lipo.

When we want to calculate the rpms of our setup how do we mesure the volts?
ex. 700kv x (3s 11.1v) or (3s 12.6v)?

3.7 volts /cell or 11.1 for 3S.

1s = 3.7 volts so 3s = 11.1v for lipos. so to calculate theoretical unloaded rpm you get from your example 700kv X 11.1v = 7770 rpms. Hopefuly the 700kv you use above is not the kv of the motor you will hookup to the single 3s pack unless its a tugboat or barge.

I was litle bit confused and always wondering the wright way to caculate the rpms.
