I run Hyperian and Thunderpower. My 65c TP packs crank out the voltage but I don't think they are holding up as well as my Hyperian have. My spec boats have caused some puffing on the TP's even though I'm only drawing down to 20%. Makes no sense to me.

I haven't run the Grims but I've seen them and raced against them. Construction looks solid and the performane is on par with my high dollar cells.

70 to 80 amps isn't really heavy usage for any of the latest generation cells. If you were running 180 amps continuous then you might need to get worried about finding the very best cells possible.

All my Turnigy and Gens Ace packs have around 15 mohms resistance. That seems to be the story with all the inexpensive packs I've used. As I've said before, the better packs have half that. See Brian's post. We can race the same boat and exchange props and he will still be significantly faster. The difference is batteries and possibly the ESC resistance. I'm significantly faster than boats that run the AquaCraft ESC and inexpensive batteries.

I run Skylipo 5s 40c 5000mah in parallel, my set up pulls 150 amps and they come in at about 95F. Not bad for the money...
        24 R/C vehicles and still counting...What budget?

          Pierre,
Hyperion for me, my 3 year old 35C cells are 2.1 to 2.3 IR as measured on my FMA PL-8 charger.
I just charged 45C Hyperion, new this season with about 25 cycles, 1.24 to 1.31 IR.
In the 8s rigger I can't see any difference.
Hope to have some video for you next week.

I'm running Hyperion 35 and 45C. They are getting better with more cycles. I have about 15 on them now. I also have a couple of Turnigy 40C's for my N1 and Electric sailplane. The're OK after about 6 cycles so far.

              IR

I honestly hadn't been checking IR on lipo packs but Lohring's comment enlightened me.
I checked my venom packs and the ones I've dogged the hardest all season are coming in at 7mohm resistance.
I'm in good hands as I suspected

I'm not pulling any insane amount of continuous, maybe around 200-250 max..
