The thing that still bugs me is that when holding them, I can easily notice the difference, I need a final call from you guy's, I had 6 and bought another 6 so I can have three runs in my cat b4 needing to charge, running a twin with 6s2p each side. If I use them and have one of each size on each side, would this be the safest option?

if you aren't running them together, they shouldn't be a problem.
even if they are not both consistent at 5000mah, they are both probably close enough to not have to worry.

thats funny, they are blaming it on how you measure.

I would run them as pairs. thin with thin, thick with thick.

My 4500's had 10G wire on the first batch I bought, the second batch had 12G wires... WTH???

Maybe 2mm difference in pack thickness too. Odd...

I would think the factory would have measuring tools and not let anything through above or below the tolerance. HK would post something on the product if it was new technology or a change in manufacture method.
did you buy, have them go out of stock, then buy again? or were they always "in stock" ?

I guess you guys are right, we have to do the quality control ourselves. try mapping the different batches on an eagle tree to se the difference in performance.
