    Diego,

I'd spread them out the same percentage as the Matrix, compared to the length I know someone that has one if you need measurements.

Your green renegade has a sponson spread (outside to outside) of 9"
My retired renegade has a spread of 10"
      I may go with 10.5" or 11"
The uncut booms mock fitted to the boat now have a 12" spread

That must be the problem with mine! LOL!

That's a little sarcasm as I think it was my own operator error.

What are the measurements inside to inside? Also, at the speeds you're shooting for, have you considered adding a little angle on the ride pads? Might I suggest 2 degree ride pad with the inside edge being lower than the outside? That info came directly from Les.

As stated, the result would be better tracking in the straights, better turning and less likely to flip while going over more chop. I think you'd be better served to get Dirty to answer his phone. He'd know more than any of us could surmise.

I hope that helps, not from experience, but from other sources and designs I've seen.

          I wish.

I'll measure it when I get home.

Cool! I was just gonna ask where you get your carbon fiber plate. Every time I look at it the price is so high I slink back into the shadows!

Those that have renegade riggers will understand this next post.

I am still waiting for my LHS to stock up on 1/64 ply. I want to duplicate the top depron section skinned with ply before skinning the provided top ply. The reason is to eliminate the depron lip that the hatch sits on. By this added 1/64 ply skin, the lip that the hatch sits on will now have ply to support it. (so it won't fall apart).

aha! I'll have to do some measurin'! I didn't build it. Picked it up from somebody else. It's a Climate Matrix. Gonna set it up for 4P. I'm setting up the H&M Xzess Evo II for Spec class with a UL-1 on 4S.

                            Hey Danny!

Very cool stretcher you're building!! The length is great...should be a good runner! Is the turn fin support going to be stretched back too? If so, you may want to think about adding a turnbuckle type support that mounts in between the hull and fin...

Great job! Keep the pics coming!!
