Pete did use use the PT-40 30 Finishing Resin after you add the PT-39 30 Minute Z-Poxy and sanded then add color to the Finishing Resin

4s lipo or 12 sub c cells. (You might already have some...?) (If not, go with lipos)

What lipo battery to use their all size like # 2700 , 4000 7.2 v 14.8 v 18 v 15c 20c 25c
the motor i am going with is a Lehner Basic XL 3600 brushless motor here some info on hardware

Nice progress!! are there any more updates? Did you ever find a battery pack? try 2-Rino 4000mah 4s lipos in parallel one on either side of the motor you can find them at hobbyking.com you will have to navigate around a bit but there in there 25-30c.

yes 2-4s in parallel make a sadle pack (not 8s) it is for an even balance and a long run time

Not yet still need to finish the back cover and then i finish with coat of epoxy and wet sand it with 600 wet paper then i add color into the epoxy to the finish then wet sand with 1000 and rub ut out
