Yeah, I have only ran the stock pack, I have a 1800 2 cell that I want to try, but I have been busy restoring my vintage kyosho ultima and building a team associated B44. Hope to get to building a new boat soon. I was looking at the DF22 hull, but its out of stock. Have you seen the jconcepts bead locks for the mini revo? They look sweet, and you can run 1/10 buggy rubber on it, so you have many choices for tread.
Back to boats, looking good, can't wait to see some vid of it!Twin power =Comment

well what I would do is get two of the stepped down prop shafts and cut the ones you have off (not to wory you can still re use them) cut them about 1cm (1 inch) from the shaft then heat the shaft up all around the area that has the cable in it untill it starts to stink and smoke a bit then with some needle nose pliers pull the cable stub out of the shaft sand the inside with some 150- or 180 grit sand paper and it will be as good as new. then for the new ones just use some locktite sleeve retainer and glue the new cables in to the shafts I have not had one come loose yet, oh yes sand the inside of the new ones as well blow them out and clean them with some lacquer thinner or alchol let dry and then glue them up, stand them up right let dry over night and you are all done. I hope that helps.
My little cat is getting 2-1450 mAh 3 cell lipos (11.1 volts) wired in paralell the thing is going to run sweet, sounds like your's is too!!Peter Eells; Fun, and Helping others To Have Fun!!!

Any updates? Your boat is looking great!!! I still haven't gave any love to my boats in a while, but hopefully soon.
Sorry I haven't been much help with your questions, I'm in the military and have been busy and haven't had a chance to reply to your questions a few months ago. Hope you get stuff worked out, let me know if you need help with anything. Can't wait to see how your boat goes.Twin power =Comment
