Oh right, yes straps up to me no prob. Just leave me a couple threaded holes where I can throw in some screws, maybe 3mm? Whatever you have to thread it with just let me know and I get me some of them screw types.

I am not really sure what you are asking second... I was planning on JB welding a couple 1/16" aluminum plates to the hull that had bolts sticking out that could go through the holes I see in the bracket. So the holes would need to be smooth and then I would put locking nuts on the bolts sticking through thus bolting the mount to the tunnel, but still removable.

    Hope this answers your questions.

Jesse the strap mounts are threaded 6/32 or close to 3mm

I will leave the hull mount holes as is 11/64 or do you want them one size up to 3/16 to fit a 8/32 bolt through

In post #88 the 4th picture on the bottom of mount you will see 6 holes , those are to bolt to boat hull

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday - got busy. strap threads sound good, lets step up to 3/16" on mount if you haven't sent the stuff off yet, want the mount to be beeeeefy.

Thanks Peter, I can't wait to post pics of these puppies mounted in the truder.

I have decided to go with a thick teflon liner inside 1/4" K&S, to make a smoother ride and less noise - no metal on metal, thanks to consultation with the Wohlt-meister. He is makin me some custom drive lines out of .078" piano wire and 6mm stubs. I had to send him the strut so it is as perfect as Peter's work.

This is truly a "group build". Mounts from the Zichinator, struts from the Wohlt-meister, hull practically donated from the Camelman, hardware and tips from lots of you good folks. Too bad we can't all get together and break a bottle of champagne over the bow, actually better to drink the champagne and recycle the bottle.

I am now scheming on the paint plan. I would like to see you guys' favorite offshore racer paint scheme, thanks.
