Anybody know of struts that are 3" that are adjustable from the side? Speed master are adjustable from the top, and the ones I have listed are maybe just long enough.
Nobody is commenting on this question: Is the rudder too far back when it is 2 1/5" behind the props? I am getting the idea nobody is sure enough of their experience to state. In which case I will assume that it is NOT a problem and stride forth."Look good doin' it"

The etti versions I have coming are sweet. I am pretty sure from all indications they are the same as the tough racing vesion. I am getting some in stock. They can be used with or without bearings. Just seeing if I can put the larger 3/16" bearings in them...I think I can. They are just slightly over 2.5" long. You just need to tell me if that will clear the set backs of the hull sponsons With shaft and DD you should be at around 2.75 or slightly more.Comment

Thanks, Jeff, I can't wait to see these struts. the setback is not more than 2.75" so the props will be making nice unrestricted roost. If this is the only requirement, then lets go for it!
As for bearings vs bushings, I will be looking at 33k rpms as my max (thats on 6S). THIS IS GONNA ROCK!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with all statements regarding when going with a top quality hull to go with grade A components. These sound like my choice for struts."Look good doin' it"

here is sketch with dimensions. I was thinking of something that is tied across the tunnel and even bolted there, leaving the motors "floating" in the sponsons. This way I could adjust the placement exactly equally. Here are dimensions, I will work on drawing what I am picturing and post soon.Attached Files"Look good doin' it"
