Man, boats have gotten fat! I used to target 4 pounds for a P Sport boat, and my Q Sport was only 6 1/2.

Sounds like you have some small micro packs. Wall chargers out put is very low 50 to 500mah. They are for telephone packs and jell cells. Our boats run on 3600 to 10000mah batteries. With a good 5amp charger it takes 49 minutes to charge 3000 Mah approximately. Your wall charger will take one or two hours to cnarge the little packs and it is not a peak charger. I do not think you can use a Y on the charger it may destroy it.

Tradgedy 20 ft from shore !

so i went out yesterday and put the boat in a small pond by my house and it takes off (a little windy out took the small waves like a champ) turned into the wind and submarine time ! i dont really know for sure as there was no aparent proof when i finally pulled the boat out but i think mabey the turn fin and rudder caught up in seaweed and pulled my boat under , then being the newbie i am i comenced to freak out ! i hit forward and backward aimlessly turning ,left ,right , in that time i believe i twisted my prop loose. after that it was just floating toward shore ! i dont know like i said before the facts remain " the boat took off turned and went under for a second , the motor reved up when i pulled the trigger but no movment (and i think that reving caused it to take on water with the prop gone , but it still was all fine just no prop). i am not disapionted in the boat but myself and regret to say i still have no pics or vid of her on the water. i will have to wait for a new prop and try again !

Well at least you didn't talk a big talk right before a race, throw your boat in the lake, mash the throttle just to see it going backwards.....

A little tip I have learned so far. LOTS of props and nuts!

ok i got a good run around the pond , but im having trouble with the prop angle and the turn fin (probably because im on 10 cells) pulling it down. i am going to take off the the turn fin for now and have fun till i get ready to swap the esc and step it up ! i recently got hold of a jeti 600 navy and plan to use that and 13 to 16 cells. i just need to get a water pickup and outlet system drill a couple more holes and get some tube. right now though while i wait for stuff and for money , ill have fun with what i got !
                            pics and vid to come

Carefull of over 12 cells you may burn the motor up. The setting for the strut is flat on the table and 3.5 degrees on the rear of the sponsons.

sweet , i have the strut on a down angle and i thought that is why it was wanting to submarine on me ! forgive me i am new. and about the turn fin , i think it was draggin it down (only because there was a rooster tail comeing out behind it) so i was going to take it off till im ready for more cells , but it may just be the prop angle ! any thoughts ?
