WHAT DO YOU THINK? see andi did the same thing but they were 447's to begin with and the hubs are bigger ..( he also back cut them).. i like the smaller hubs as its less mass to spin .
The added mass has it's greatest affect when you change rpm's ... once you are up to speed it helps to keep the rpm's more consistent. As far as the 442's with more pitch goes only testing will give you the answer and also the tips could be cupped a bit to narrow the thrust cone.

How bout them plastic props? $10 if you lost both drives

I have an inline drive on my 27" Geico cat and I can't believe how many times I have saved disaster, between under-tighting the coupler to broken wire drive (I have since softened the curve and am fine). Pretty cool when all you have to do is fix the broken part instead of having to replace everthing

You will get it licked, eh?

Glad to hear it's back in the water ... maybe a set of detongued 442's with a bit of cup will do the trick!

Ive gotten 67.1 twice now , one on salt and one on fresh both with unmatched just s/b 442's.. So maybe a little extra pitch will give me that extra! Also im running the turigy 2650 mah 50 c's and lighting it up really helped the way it road on the water! Better performance but not faster...

                              Wolf,

I,m still chasing the 70 mph mark with the Simrad Cat.
I've bought some ABC props 4217/3 and a set of ABC 4518/2 left and right rotation.
Haven't had a chance to try them yet , very soon!
Good luck my friend i really hope you an i can achieve this goal.

Let me know how you like the props! I havent rum my s/b abc props yet as my shafts are too short for them.. Ill try them on the next set of shafts... Whats your top speed so far? dude, we will hit it!!! i know i could throw 447's on her and hit it but it would only be one pass...
