Ok I have the Feigao 8xl back in the boat and I'll be testing the Hydra240 tomorrow to see if she still works as the Spectrum Rx and servo survived. If the hydra works I'll test the boat again but this time I'll be returning the turn fins to their stock location. I'm putting them back because I put the boat back to it's previous working condition except for the fins and it still bounced around even after removing one entirely.

I'd remove both fins, they are useless on cats and will trip them up in the corners. try lowering your strut or moving the cg up a little bit.

            Seal that hull man.

Boat should have never took on water or sank like it did.

You just recently got the bj55 and if I remember correctly another boat after that, a Mono I think. Why not leave the bj 26 alone as you have the x642 and lipos and do up the bj55, How much time and money do you have? I want to see the bj55 match the 126 MPH as the Germans can do. Go for the gusto and the BIG guys

If that BJ 55 does 60 you've gotten alot out of it, those hull are not made for speeds over 45mph max and can't turn above 35 with out flipping.

Actually the lid was sealed shut with tape but the force of the impact ripped it clean off.

I intend on turning one of the 55's into an electric SAW. It may not survive after the first run but it will hopefully hold a record.

                      Etti 150 opto ESC

I now have the boat setup with the Etti esc, Feigao 8xl, JR FM Rx, Futaba Digital servo, Octura x642 prop, and Trak Power 4900 Lipo's, and have re-routed the cooling lines to make them more effective and cleaner. But I am wondering why the ETTI has a secondary lead comming out of it? It can be removed but it does not tell me what it is used for in the Manual. can anyone tell me what it's used for? I thought it might be the bec but where on earth would I plug it into?

bec it appears. you should hook that to rx unit in the batt. slot. re-read instructions to be sure

Thats what I thought as well but does the Etti not have bec capability? That and that the red and black don't coincide with the Rx pos and neg.

Unplug it. it is a wire for using the etti datalogger.

Thanx for the help. I removed before I read this as it didn't seem to work for anything. I also read that this esc does not have bec so I plugged in a batt pack and all is well now.

Now I just need a new flex shaft as the one I had does not fit the x430 prop.
