All about the looks and being different, and I'm guessing no one has ever tried this before so I will be able to do a write-up of how it works....if at all LOL.

A great response, as I like to be different also. I think I know the end result but give it your best shot.

More rudders or bigger rudders do nothing more than adding more resistance hence less speed or more amps. Looking different and nice is accepted by all for sure, but why pull more amps or decrease speed? An idea would be to make the dual rudders narrower and very sharp at the leading edge to decrease resistance.

          WOW...cool picture!

I would also sharpen the bottom edge of each rubber... I mean rudder. This will prevent lift of transom while running boat.

How thin would you be talking about?

The sharpening I would have done anyway, but I would never have thought about the lift factor on the bottom of the rudder. Good insight.

I think I know the end result....
What do you think it would be.

As of now my setup will be the Octura x642, water jacket around a 2340kv motor, motor fixed to a water cooled mount, two aluminum rudders, one on either side of the transom with separate servos running them, turn fins mounted to the side of the hull to keep the rudders from hitting them, the stock rudder/out drive in the center, 2 Trak Power 4900 LIPO's in the center of the hull, as I found having the batt's in the lowest part of the transom makes for lousy cornering, a castle creations 240 Amp Hydra ESC, and spectrum RX with telemetry for on the go info.

Just ran the boat with this setup

I just came back from Humber Bay Park after a quick run for speed and cornering tests.

I ran the stock 1500 kv motor with 20 degree timing, a Castle Creations Mamba Max ESC, Stock running hardware, 2 4600 NI-MH Intellect batteries, a spectrum SR3300T RX with a temp sensor on the ESC.

With this setup I got on plane nice and fast and recorded a top speed of 53 Kph on rough water, but with the batteries in the lowest part of the boat the turning was ridiculously unstable and I had to slow down a ton to keep her happy.
The temp of the Mamba Max hit a high of only 120F, and I know from experience that if you run the Max systems at 200F you have roughly 5 min of run time before frying it, so I have a bit of room for a larger prop but not much at all. 160F is as far as anyone should go so as not to damage the controller.
