    DF Sniper build

    I started my DF Sniper build at last , Here are some shots of the inside so far , will post as I move on from here . next install will be stainless steel cooling tubes and mounts connected up from the rear to the motor/ ESC

    motor = 2230/1Y
    ESC = Schulze 40/160
    Radio = Futaba Fasst 2.4
    Steering servo = FUT9157 425 in/oz Digital
    UBEC = Turnigy 8 - 42 volt 5.0amp
    Cells will be 2 x 6s5000's front and 2 x 4s5000's sides rear or a total of 10s10,000mah

              That is truly awesome, Peter. I really wish I could CNC aluminium like that myself, I have to use a guy here with a waterjet machine...

                    Beautiful! And thats one hell of a servo! as well as weverything else.

                        That's not a servo....

                        THIS is a servo:

                        Weighs 10 oz and has 1800 oz-in of torque at 12 volts.

                            Excellent work. How does that ESC get cooled from tubes on the edges? Or are they mounted on plates and those are sandwiched?
