Here is some video of our day at the pond , don't expect to much on the Sniper for its first run , it was only running on 6 cells and a very mild prop . that is customary for me on every first run just to get a feel for the boats characteristics . please enjoy the video as it has a variety of pictures and runs
The second run of the Sniper was at the full 10C2P . the packs are just 20/30c so they took a severe beating , each bank of 10cells was spiked to over 116.5 amps or 233 amps total draw . Edmonton has the Namba 16 nitro boat club that had there seafair cup races at our pond , sorry correction there pond . These guys have never seen an electric boat do 30mph let alone 65mph+ . there was a little disbelief looking at the sniper ( Nitro Killer ) until the boat ran at the end of there contest , A few mouths dropped and a new respect for electrics developed I,m sure . Will have some video next time . Also got my scull from the movie for the front of the boat and the Eagretree hardware installed , temp probe is right on the motor windings
