Holy Crikies will it spin it! I would go with it and do the little 2S 1600 mah zippies ($10) you should still get 8 min runs on just 2S1P set up and remain reeeeeally light. the 29 mm worked great, that is what I had in the video and what gave it torque-mania.

Turns out these are the exact plans Shockerman is trying to get a place to post in .pdf. I can send you the original plans and you can scale them to your liking. I have begun the redigitizing of the raster pdfs but haven't finished. If you are interested, I can try to finish them and send you in vector form; in any account pm me your email and I can shoot you the pdf."Look good doin' it"

Hey, great boat! There is something very nice about a boat with this small form factor that can punch that well. I am thinking of making a similar sized boat, but was contemplating going down the fibreglass route - do you think it would benefit from this at this scale or do you think it is too small? As for the torque roll, i had a similar issue with a mono using the exact same motor and i was told to swap it out for an inrunner which seemed to help a lot. It is due to the amount of inertia in an outrunner as the rotating and accelerating mass is concentrated in the outer whereas with an inrunner it is concentrated in the centre.Comment
