Hope you are keeping the tub held down on a good building board when adding your glass etc. The deck adds alot of strenght to randy's ABS boats and I have had one twist building like you are. Looks good and micro boats are a lot of fun to build and run

That prop looks awfully deep. I would start with the bottom of the strut even with the bottom of the sponsons, and plan on raising it some as you dial it in.

You may have to move the prop back to miss the strut, but it looks like you have room for the adjustment.

Nice hardware. I am giong to install the same Mystery motor/esc combo in my Micro Scat Cat. Are you planning on any cooling fo the ESC? Just curious.
                      Thanks.

                          Micro Cat

I bought mine used from Taylor, it came with the rudder already installed. Not sure of the make. Randy at BBY made the strut for me. It came with a 540 motor which I ran with six cells. It hopped like mad at first.
I am going to install the Mystery combo and run 2s2p lipos about 1800-2000 mah.
It has ride pads installed that extend al the way to the back of the hull, apperently to counter the tourqe roll from the 400 Mega motor he ran.
Not sure how they will will work with the Mystery.

I've had a lot of success using that motor in micro hydros, but the cat may need more oomph. I initially ran my MSC with two of those and it did not overly impress me. I switched to bigger, higher Kv motors and it made a huge difference.
