Boat is finished. Haven't had much time to tune the setup and figure out the right prop. I might need to swap for a lower kV motor so that I run run a larger diameter prop. I have an 800kV 5680 in my Zelos 48G conversion that I might try this weekend.

Swapped in the 800kV motor this afternoon and bolted on an ABC2315 prop. A lower speed potential, but the original setup was completely unusable so fingers crossed.

It was more power/speed than the hull could handle. It ran much better on the 800kV motor, but still a lot of work to keep it on the water and no improvement in the turns. I'd scrap the entire project if the hull wasn't the best looking V-bottom from the waterline up, in my opinion. I think it's going to get sent to the body shop this winter to have the steps smoothed over. It can't get any worse.

I just started a thread on a 29.5" that i'm going to be building, taking a lot of your reinforcement ideas and running with them. Hopefully i've picked a decent hull to start with.
