Its a hobby store in LIndsay,. can't remember the name they didn't even have rc stuff !!He only had 2 spruce sticks so the rest are bass wood.

I use black walnut. I order a bunch and keep them on hand all the time.

I've seen a lot of creative and better ways to deck a boat, but I still just use clamps and tape.

It's not a boat, Jesse. It's a living creature! Terry found it lurking in the pond. It needs eyes, not a windshield!

Was thinking something evil like the eyes from Venom. That shape. Haven't thought it through yet.

I wanted to go even more obnoxious but it's close to looking hooky boo as it is. Felt like if I went further it wouldn't even look like a boat. Easy to go tacky.

Actually.....it just came to me. Have to air brush it before clear.

Well, I started fairing out the seams last night. I also removed the top brace of the bulkhead as I do with all my boats. Then sanded down the bottom brace.
Individual velcro strips will be on each side so the batts sit flat.

I also fabbed up the motor mount plate. It's amazing how accurate you can be with a nice template with center markers and a very sharp punch. Bob over at Mojo was going to start laser cutting mounts, but I haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully soon.

I always try to save as much of the bulkheads as I can. On my P boat I'm throwing super fat cells at it. I'll have to grind out some of the vertical at the bulkhead Pete removed. Makes me nervous.
