    UPDATE

You can never have enough bling
Thanks John, but try telling racerr73 (Mr. Jensen) that
I have also been busy poilishing hardware

The boat has had 5 coats of polyurethane with sanding and alot of prep work in between. Its now ready for its final coat.

And look Trev, I even paint the inside of my boats

The picture of the wierd looking light contraption is actually a make do oven to try and speed up the curing process.

      UPDATE

Final coat of clear on but it was so glossy I kept leaving finger marks so I made the decision to knock the gloss of with 1200 wet and dry and leave it as a matt finish (still looks okay)

Started to reassemble inside components - start on paint tommorow, did a little prep work to the hull today

              Made some more progress,
Manufactured a plate to mount the reciever on to keep it out of any water in the bottom of the boat (not that I plan on getting any in it).

Also glued velcro in for batteries.

No way Jimmy, matt finish is faster! Well, that's what I tell myself because I'm too lazy to 'bling up' any of my hardware

Looks good, hardware is pretty bling.
I'm about 30% done with the refit of my OM26, but mine was rather stuffed when i started, its lookin a bit different know.
Might put up a thread eventually, good to see people still running the boat.

                        Thanks,

good to see people still running the boat.
Why would'nt people still be running it, makes a great hull for sport setups. Perfect size for an Aquacraft or Proboat setup on 4s

Whats the foam in there for Jimmy under the engine mount? Are you expecting it to leak water? Wonder where from? Cooling hoses maybe lol.

                            Your sooooo funny Trev

Why do you ask, do you need some

BTW - My cooling hose came off because my boat was going too fast - Read the fine print (if you can at your old age)

Too bad yours does'nt go that fast

Becasue it used to be one of the best LSO hulls, and you used to see heaps of the US guys running it, but don't hear much about it now. It never really made the transition from hull of choice in LSO to hull of choice for N-2. Your right there good on proboat or SV27 motors, I've done some things to mine in an attempt to help it handle more power, and to reduce lift etc.

What props are you guys using?
I was running a proboat motor and esc w/ a 437/3 prop and the thing was crazy with hole shots but could not keep the boat on the water. Tried adjusting everything and it just wants to porpoise. It is about 90% selfrighting though.
