Ha! I knew you were going to say that Alfa! I really wanted to stick with running 2s as I don't have any 3s packs..yet. Do you think there will be any issues running it with the 120a ESC on 4s in the mean time?

You should be fine with the T120 on 4s. Especially since you are running a low KV motor. I just ran one with a Leopard Motor on 4s last week.

I'm curious to see how well it performs.

Turnigy AquaStar 120A and Seaking-120A (Version 2.0) are waterproof

Unless they did some revamping the Aquastars are not water proofed

imo the kv would be to low for 4s
try the black jack motor with the 440/3

The one I got last week was very lightly coated. See photos in this thread: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=16114

I did pick up a can of Acrylic Conformal Coating and have been coating all my electronics with it for a while now.

Yes they do have a coating of something. I wouldn't say they're water proof but more of a water resistant/ splash proof.

it should be a bit higher than that, its a fairly high torque motor and will spin a decent size prop with out pulling huge amps
