        Servo choice.......

Can anyone tell me any reason not to use a small servo? In my original build I fitted it with a 9Kg/cm Tower Pro servo, I also have this servo in my 48" Riptide and that weighs like 18Kg....

So with this being so much lighter and with the twin drives, Can I use a small servo like a HiTec HS82MG?????

I know I can lay the servo on its side but I still would like to use my original steering setup and put the servo in the sponson over one of the flexies....

Also, I did see a drawing on here for motor plates and I thought I copied it to my desk-top but looked today and it's not there???
Does anybody know where it is as I can't find it???? (The one on here! NOT the one I copied!!!) Lol!!!!

            Ooops..... what packs??

            C rate,

            Mah

            Brand

You may not be able to pull the amps you need or want from your packs, prop may not be right, could try a x442 or x640 instead, post pictures...

is this your drifter? if so, how do like the hardware? i see its way far back off the transome, i asume it stays dryer at high speeds. also can you give me a link to purchase one please.

I think you could do a bit better with 4S2P 40C cells Turnigy, or Zippy.

Longer run time and more available power to motor.

I don't think those cells are cutting it, they were meant for RC cars that don't draw nearly the current your motor does.

I bet it does NOT get very warm when you run it, does it???

                  Thats a nice cat!!

                      30-40c is fine.

Hobby City's 40c -50c cells aren't in stock, well, not many but, 30-40c will do and maybe less$$$...

If so, will 3/16 go there or do I need a new strut? (or is that 4mm durable, I can use 3/16 adapter on my props too)

Is that paint or decal they have on them? -would like to get a white or black hull instead.

And If some one knows the hardware quality on this artr or the parts they sell at hotr, please do tell! -like this http://cgi.ebay.com/aluminum-rudder-...4.c0.m14.l1262

                              I need to order 2 hulls or artr“s soon(one is for matti1983).

Steven is out of stock on these hardware parts so it looks like i need to order everything from hotr.

                              thanks,
