Also the linkages come with a threaded piece so that you can fine tune the cables so that the servo won't bind. I soldered the wire cable to the connectors (very strong ) . The servo has plenty of torque for your hull . here are a couple of pics for you to see what I'm talking about. BONEWAR
Man i love that set-up I have to do that where can I get the 2 linkage arms to guide the cable to the rudder like the one on your boat in your 3rd pic. Also how long is your boat good job on the CF.

        Hpr 115 rudder/steering.

OK boy's the hardware comes from Hanspeter Rotschi
        [email protected], swissmodelpowerboatteam, spedtoy
You will have to email hanspeter, he does not speak English to well but he will reply to all your emails. I think they where about 230$ US for the rudder and steering arm set , They are for his HPR115. The MARITIMO CAT from rudder to the nose is 40'' long . I two loved that steering setup , so i made the carbon pod on the back of the hull to match the rudder. It's all in the MARITIMO TWIN CAT THREAD. Some good reading there!!! http://hpr06.speedtoy.com/(SETUP PAGE) This is where i got all my inspiration from to build the MARITIMO. SOME BEAUTIFUL CATS THERE!!!! BONEWAR

Hey guys... that artr cat looks good, but is that shaft 4mm?

If so, will 3/16 go there or do I need a new strut? (or is that 4mm durable, I can use 3/16 adapter on my props too)

Is that paint or decal they have on them? -would like to get a white or black hull instead.

And If some one knows the hardware quality on this artr or the parts they sell at hotr, please do tell! -like this http://cgi.ebay.com/aluminum-rudder-...4.c0.m14.l1262

                    I need to order 2 hulls or artr´s soon(one is for matti1983).

Steven is out of stock on these hardware parts so it looks like i need to order everything from hotr.

                    thanks,

yes 4mm shaft you need an adaptor for 3/16 props.
hardware in the link probably will not fit the hull.
quality ok for the money you pay. Still for my cat I plan to switch to hughey flex cable and fuller strut.

                        Ok, thanks.

I guess I´ll get that hull only then and wait until the OSE hardware is in stock.

That will give me some time to think single or dual motors...

                          single Feigao54010XL, 200A 8S ESC, 6S Lipo's will take it to hell!
be aware that these hull are not very strong, you'll need to reinforce seam and bottom, few guys already split some of these hull in two part, deck/hull junction is not good!

                            -sounds good to me then!

I will build it using time...ready to race next spring.

Any Idea of what hardware to use on this? -Steven has some in stock but I have no idea what would be good on this hull...

Maybe it is time to go wire drive also?

                              FastVee,
As you're in Europe you'd better use metric don't you? I personnaly don't mind as I'm familiar with Imperial but it's always a matter of finding screw, shaft or drill bits when it comes to maintenance!
Contact the seller, his name's Johnny (like most chinese), tell him you want the hull and this as this is the one that comes with the ARTR version, he might give you a good price, you may order the collet, motor mount and servo mount too!

Emmanuel, that 4mm is what conserns me , not the metric system (i can get " and mm parts easily here)

4mm is less then 3/16 (or 1/4) and that is my concern. If I´ll get that 10xl and 6-8s, is that enough strenght on flex? -and what can these chinese parts withstand?

That artr is cheap if these parts are okay to use, i could even use that motor/esc on 1 of my other hulls.

I have plenty of 3/16 props, but they can still be used using small piece of 3/16 tube as an adaptor.

I just hate that color sceme on that cat! -if it is all decal it should be easy to remove with heat gun thought...

                                Thoughts any 1?
