My boat look like a skipping rock on the water. Please help!

    Hey,

I bought the Jet Sprint by Mickie Beez (http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=mb-hull-610) off this site and built it as my first ever build. I have had other boats in the past but I thought it would be fun to build something that I could take on the river and now have to worry about tearing up my prop and let my nephew drive like a maniac. The build went fine enough but whenever I put it on the water it just skips. The jet will prime and then shoot it out of the water and then it will hit the water again and repeat. I just can't get it to run smooth no matter what I do. I run 2x8000mah 2s lipo's in series and I have tried them in the back of the boat, the front of the boat and every place in between but I still can't get it to run smooth to get any speed out of it.

Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong. Here is a pic of the inside of my hull, 2000kv leopard motor with a 180amp esc bought from offshore electrics.

Is the thrust angle level with the hull? Do you have any video?

I have tried level and up and down as it is adjustable. Here is an older video but it is still the same ongoing problem.

Why not ask the designer of the boat? Mickieb49

Just a WAG,maybe you need to slowly apply throttle on take-off. Perhaps a soft start on the ESC.

I have tried slowly applying the throttle. Didn't make any difference
