Hey Travis do you know exactly what KV that TP is? I've been using the TP 2Y 1770kv motors and they are a killer 6s motor. I've got two of them in stock right now, I think I'm gonna put the pair of them in a 44" Seaducer Mono I have

That's the exact motor it is. 1770kv.

So I did a motor swap. I'm still waiting on my 1527 but I threw a 1530 1580kv in it. Omg that is a very very powerful motor. I could not believe my ears in how it sounded.
And it went a full 11+mph faster than the tp4070 both on 6s.
Of notable mention. The fastest the lehner ever went in my previous boat tweaked to the max was 69.9mph.

How about a vid of that 1530 :) that thing is massive!
Whats the KV of that custom 1527 you have coming ?
Maybe I should put some 2x 1530's in my kbb 45...
The 1527 is 1650kv. Still not here yet. I'm sorry I even ordered it now. This 1530 is ridiculous. I only have one video of it. I've been going by myself. I did have my son video it just now on one of the runs but it flipped on that one. It's like I let off and the radio glitched and the throttle event wide open for a sec and it flipped and broke the hatch.

Busy at work. Lol. The thumbscrews I got off eBay. They come from zoro tools. Do a search for stainless 8-32 thumbscrews. I use 3/4" or 1" depending on what I'm doing. They aren't cheap.
What I did on the hatch was mill a square a little deeper than thee layers of carbon fiber. So those three layer sit flush and take the place of fiberglass. Then once that cured I did a two layer inlay on the whole hatch. I cranked down on the screw to see if it would break again. Nope. I was prepared for it to break again. I have another on order anyway. The seam also has a hairline crack on each side. Must have been a hard hit. I sanded the seam with 30 grit and reinforced the crap out of it. I grabbed the side rails and tried to twist it and pull it apart but it didn't even creak. It's much stronger than it was. When I get a chance I may sand it down and fill the crack and repaint it but for now I'll leave it alone for now.
