Just quick figuring @ 2 grand for it, you'd be makin' about $400.00 or so minus Batteries and Rx. $2500.00 would be a more fair profit margin..

The new lite version. I love it. It's a pretty robust Esc.

Your right. I added it up real quick and I've got close to $1500 in parts in it. Probably more if I really count everything. Then the paint. Supplies. The labor in painting is a good bit too. Whew. Your right. I didn't think this thing could be worth that much but I built a guy a $1800 Rivercat not long ago with top end components. Man this boat stuff can get out of control price wise quickly!

Charging batts and packing my stuff to hit the water. Wish me luck!

I'm running 4s first to make sure everything is ok. Then 6s. Just for now. I just got through block sand the ride surface with 400 grit. It's perfectly flat. Glad I put a lot of Clear on it.

Everything worked. Flawless. No leaks, no problems. Ran it on 4s only. I was rushed to get back home because we were going to dinner. It ran 41.7 on w4s which is right in line with what it should be, especially not tuned in yet. Here's some pics. No video as I went by myself.

Found a couple little issues tonight as I was looking it over and prepping for tomorrow's 6s runs. The very end ball bearing came out of the strut. My fault. Was someone I was trying that didn't work. Some flex shafts, the stub end will slide right through the bearings with no resistance. Some have to be polished down to slide through or they are a tight fit. Well I polished it except the very end right before the drive dog.....in an effort to keep water completely out of the drive tube. Well it was a and idea because it caused the last bearing that it fight tight in, to come out from the shrinking of the shaft under power and then letting off it growing back to its normal size. No big deal. Just something that I wanted to try. Now I know it don't work. So I put the bearing back in, staked it in place and polish the shaft. All should be good now.

Next. The drive tube was straight at the end. Boat was running pretty wet so I needed a touch of positive. While I had the strut out I bent the drive tube just a bit so I can get my positive but it will also go back to level if I need to. As it was I had it negative during my runs. I think it's got a bit left in it with 4s. But do keep in mind this boat weighs over 10lbs I'm sure. Last one was 9.7 and this one has more weight to it. I think the way it is, is right in line with my original one. It did 51-52 on 5s but amazingly jumped to high 60's on 6s. I think I got 69 out of it with less kv so I know it do able. Stay tuned, I'll be running again tomorrow.

Looks good Travis, that color is awesome. The 1527 looks bad ass in that hull.

Just left the lake. Clouds were dark. Wasn't sure if it was going to rain. Well it did and I got caught in it. Good thing boats are water proof lol. I decided to try 6s first this time because I was anxious to see where the thing stood compared to my original. Well it seems to be on par so far. I only had a couple minutes to make adjustments and the down pour hit. But anyway here's my first run. (I went by myself, so no video yet).
