Good to hear your running well, just tuning now I take it? What are temps like? I am shooting to run this hull around 50. You think it possible? I have had fits with Feigao motors lately and would just like to experience the "dark side". I may never buy another Neu just cause of cost but what the heck right?

Yea just a bit more tuning, im getting used to the boat now and so things should be all good from here on in. My temps are great, motor and esc arent even worried(yet, might have to make them ) , and batts are good.
Ive seen the Delta 29s over 50 so this should be sweet, as for going with a Neu i'd say its worth it, im just running the purplo to fit in my clubs restricted class.

Just a side note, you want quite a bit of adjustment of the strut i have found personally, so i would recommend doing a flooded shaft chamber like i did, as it gives you a good amount of adjustment.

      Hope this helped,
      Tyler.

where's your COG? how many degree did you lift the prop? I'm still fighting with this 2 parameters!

Haha, all good. Have a look at my build thread again, you will see in this photo the "box" that my stuffing tube and shaft come through? This is what im talking about.
The stuffing tube goes through a hole in the front of the box, which it is glued or glassed into. Also the box is glassed into the boat. You can see on a couple of my pics i've got a big hole on the transom for the stuffing tube to go trough to take advantage of the adjustability.

As for my GOG and strut height/angle, ive got the COG somewere around 32-35% and my strut is angled down 1 to 2 degrees. The bottom of my strut is about 5mm from the keel, but i did have it higher today when i had smoother water.

          Tyler.

you seem kinda jumpy when someone offers advice, if you dont like peoples advice especially Taylors ( I believe he has built more boats than you own) dont post a build thread

I forgot this was his and Taylors "eyecandy boats" forum.

Build threads like this help people, i have learned from many

I run a 1515 1y with a hydra 240 and m447 prop, 4s 1p. Awsome acceleration and the motor and esc handle it well.
Mich as far as that crap above .... ignore it 1370 post or so I think you have earned the right for a build thread mate. Hope it is going well, so as tyler says let us know.

Thanks for the kind words Gents but I have alot to learn first. I may not build this boat anyways. I am thinking about selling the hull and buying a real DF29. Other than that I have everything from the batterys to the water outlet.... Just need to see a couple more built to be confident in how I want mine setup.

Hey Mich, don't sell it! Honestly it handles very well! Mine still needs some fine tunning but I'm already very happy with it!
