Here is some updated pics of the paint work, keep in mind that it still needs clear, and some final sanding before the clear, the hatch sort of got a warp in it but after the finial painting it should be better. We had to sand it because of some imperfections and this is the finial coat because we ran out of paint fixing mistakes, and we ran out of black paint for the window so we used some left over color change from my renegade rigger build, its a little different but looks pretty good. Over all it looks pretty nice and will look great on the water.

Thanks, it will looks much better once it gets clear on it, right now it is sort of a semi gloss finish because it is automotive paint that requires a clear. It will also have a much more deeper look with the clear.

That one was a pain to get looking that good (metallic Paint, lifting, running out of paint sanding between coats, Blah, Blah, Blah,) Now for some stripes and some clear if you think it is nice now just wait untill it is finished.

Ok, just got these pics from my Dad, he emailed them to me. This is where she is in progress, next up is let the paint dry a few days and then we will mount the hardware back up and then I can wire it cleanly and get the proper battery setup for it. In the vid I had it powered off a single 4000mah 2 cell lipo, so it wasn't really optimal, it was just to get her wet before I had shipped off to boot camp. I will be running her on 2 3s packs so each esc will get its own battery. I also need to purchase a lipo cutoff because I don't think the cheapo escs have a cut off.


Behold she has clear and is shiney, what a difference clear coat makes
